Show your family an independent way to learn and earn

Worldschooling is an incredible life...
...But waiting for someone else to to show you how it's done, misses the point.
World schooling is helping your kids learn independently by:
-Pursuing their own path
-Facing the challenges
-Finding their own solutions
Help them develop the confidence to adapt and evolve in a world that changing faster than ever.
Show them how to be independent learners and earners.
Stop looking for someone else to give you the “right” answer
set the example
Start mapping your own journey:
-What do you want?
-What challenges will you have to face?
-How will you solve them?
The Mission Map can't give you Freedom, but it can give you the tools so you can:
-Decide your path
-Create value
-Earn income
what does the life you want look like?

It’s not that Worldschooling doesn't sound exciting, right?
Who wouldn't want to explore the world and have great experiences?
But you have to do what's best for your family.
These are the questions we get asked the most:
1. How do other families do it?(show me a low risk way)
3. Do we have to travel (all the time and leave everything behind)?
5. Do I need certain expertise?(I don't have transferable skills)
7. What if I come home with my tail between my legs after hurting my family?
It doesn't matter where or how
We'll share what worked for us.
Learn from our story, but create your own.
You can only really answer questions by walking your own path.
If your kids watch you live a life you don’t love…
what example are you asking them to follow?
Show them an how to
stop waiting for a job or a guru and...
-Create value.
-Own your platform.
-Keep growing.
Show your family that freedom is choosing how you live each day.
This isn’t about risking what you have.
It’s about showing your family how to map their own path.
adapt and solve problems themselves instead of waiting to be told the answer.

Asking questions is good.
But only if you have a clear objective.
We can't tell you how to live your life.
We can help you identify where you want to go first and help you navigate.
We can't speak for everyone but we didn’t sell everything and disappear.
We started with our own questions.

At first, “world Schooling” wasn’t for our kids, it was for us.
Our careers had stalled. Life felt stuck.
We needed something new.
But there were no teachers. No classrooms. No bosses to tell us what to do.
We had to figure out what we wanted.
And how to get it, ourselves.
We started small. Our first goal:
How can we spend 'A Little More Outdoor' time as a family?
That meant problems we had to solve:
-Where to go?
-What to do?
-How to Keep safe?
-How to Learn new skills?
We shared what worked any way we could.
People told us what they needed
and wanted to pay for.
We just had to learn how to deliver it
in line with our goals and values.
That proved something:
You can earn and learn doing what you love.
Instead of telling them what we think they should know;
-They pick their own goals.
-Solve their own problems.
-Learn independently.
Learning and Earning independently meant we no longer needed to be in one place for work or school.
Travel was just our next adventure to try.
New problems and challenges to overcome,
Meaning new opportunities to
Learn,
Earn
Grow,
and
Explore.
Mission Map is our method to earn but also to learn. to guide ourselves our kids and anyone who wants our help.
Once you learn how to follow your own path, once you can prove it and lead,
Then the whole family grows together.
and you leave the world a little better than you found it.
Your way.

TLDR: Worldschooling, for us, is a loop:

What started as weekend adventures became our income.
Travel just became the next adventure to try.
Whatever we choose to do, we have an evergreen method to create income and a method to show our kids how to learn.
the more things we try the more value we create.

We hear families putting off adventure because of the idea that your kids will fall behind if they are not in a rigid school environment.
We learned the best thing you can do for your kids is teach them to learn independently.
When we first took our kids out of school, we were obsessed with keeping up with the curriculum. Could they read and write as well as everyone else? We had anxiety about their handwriting not being as advanced, but took pride when they could recite facts above their grade.
All our learning got so much better when we let go of all that.
-We try not to teach our kids our knowledge.
-We answer questions with questions.
-We get them to teach us.
-We make it ok not to know or make mistakes as long as you learn.
Subjects, or rather projects and adventures, our kids choose for themselves (where they often know more than us) they run with. learning happens as a by product.
When we let go of the idea that a subject had to look like maths or English, the learning just happened.
Whether it was:
- Designing a game at the beach
- Creating their own content or song in the house
- Building a den.
- Exploring a castle
Letting them try and fail on their own has been the greatest lesson we've learned.
because that's the skill that traditional school lacks.
If the goal is 'remember the answer someone else gives you'.
You spend your life waiting for someone else to give you the correct answer.
Most of the time their is no correct answer, just what works for you.
We stopped trying to tell them and tried to show them.
They watched us try and fail and keep learning too.
They saw us build businesses, test ideas, make mistakes, pivot, and figure it out.
We observe the world together, share our perception and test it.
We learn to communicate, to pay attention, to extrapolate what is useful.
That's the real education.
Don't be their teacher.
be their role model.
Lead by example.
Let them lead too.
If you like this kind of adventure.
Learn how to turn your adventures into income.
Use that income to fund more adventures.
Asking people to spend their first 21 years of life memorising facts and rules with the promise that an employer will value it someday is mad!
I still do some freelance work and consulting. I don't get paid for my knowledge (i can look that up in seconds) i get paid for solving the problem that's in front of me.

World schooling is not a competition for passport stamps or instagram shots.
It’s a way of exploring your world,
Whether you’re on another continent or on your own street.
Taking personal responsibility for what you learn and how you learn it.
Learning happens best when it has purpose and intrinsic motivation.
Pick adventures that excite you individually:
-travel,
-building a car.
-Building a tree house
-starting a farm
-creating a game
-cooking a meal
Some people need to start small to feel safe,
Some people need to go big to feel motivated.
Recognise your individual needs
Learn what you need to achieve your goals,
Discover what really works.
Kids’ questions lead Education, not the other way around.
Share your interests, find joy and education in trying new things together.
Recognise learning happens everywhere.
Your next adventure is research, not a forever decision you have to get right.

Travel can amplify what you’re already doing. or it can provide unnecessary stress.
Travel doesn’t have to be the starting line or the finish line.
Every adventure; big or small, provides lessons and insights for the next.
The biggest reason we see people fail, isn't because they pick the wrong adventure.
it's because they put so much pressure on themselves to pick the right one, it never happens
.
What feels like the first problem between you and the life you want?
If you find your way to solve it, you've created value.

What you do with your home is up to you. Just prove you can earn, even a few pound, independently before you make a leap of faith.
Selling up is a common thing to do to create capital that can accelerate travel and a business.
We've heard horror stories of how much people regretted getting rid of their homes.
then we've heard stories about how people wished they sold their house sooner.
If you are renting you can sub let or just live cheaper pretty much anywhere in the world, rent is around £400 per month in most places.
So you have options.
You could...
sell
rent
air bnb
do small trips every few weeks
earn enough to pay it off
But let's be honest, it comes down to money.
If you know you could create multiple sources of income without a boss or a franchise,
what would you want to do?

we kept our house.
-We Airbnb'd it the first time we traveled so we could come back when we wanted.
-We came back for a few years did micro trips from our house,
-Then, the second time we travelled,
long-term rented.
We're working towards earning enough we can pay off the mortgage.
But we are also actively exploring places we would invest time, energy and money into .
we've looked at:
-Small holdings in eastern Europe,
-Islands in Scandinavia and
-Communities in South America.
-Sail boats in Indonesia
But at the moment we're happy exploring the world, trying things and seeing if we really fall in love with a place or lifestyle.
We can give you more information on that when the time comes.

You don’t have to burn your life down to explore a different way of living and learning.
Most families who make this work start by protecting their base, not destroying it.
Build options before you make decisions.
That’s what responsible risk actually looks like.
Your lived experience IS your expertise.
Empathy is your superpower.

You don’t need a qualification to prove to anyone else you can do this.
You need to find your way of doing it.
As you might have guessed, I am dyslexic and all kinds of neurodivegent.
I've been hired for jobs i'm not right for, and fired from ones I thought I was good at.
We've tried things that haven't worked. We learned that they weren't right for us or weren't helpful for other people. That's the best way to learn.
Our income to travel comes in from multiple sources that we've learned and mastered along the way.
Once something works it carries on working and you can try something else.
But we're always looking to learn something new.
Here's some of the ways we earn...
I love to work with people so i do 1-2 business coaching sessions a day.
Keri helps people with travel when it feels right.
I run group coaching once a week.
We create content like blogs, videos.
We've written books
Developed courses
Keri Created products
We Recommended products, destinations, services
Consulted on larger projects.

That doesn't even scratch the surface of the ways you can offer value in the digital economy.
But if you don't know how those activities earn money, you've gos some learning to do.
You need a simple way to turn what you’re already living into something other people can use.
Even if it doesn't work you'll quickly learn why.

Turn your the experience you want to pursue into income.
What problems do you need to solve?
Why is that important to who you are?
How can you share the solution?
Your lived experience IS the expertise.
Figure out how you want to communicate.
Build what you need to communicate it.
Let your platform evolve with you.
Create something that is yours.
See where your work is valued.
Nurture people who need you.
Recognise what else you both want.
Marketing isn't about being something you're not.
It's about knowing who you are.
That's the core of The Mission Map.
> You're not starting from scratch.
You're turning what you're already care about into something that helps people.
> The Mission Map walks you through it , step by step, so you don't have to guess what comes next.
> Ready to start?
No.
The world is changing
Jobs are disappearing
Employers don't value employees
You owe it to yourself and your family to understand
ignorance is no longer an option.
this is how you protect your family.

World schooling isn't about quitting your job, forsaking your home or taking your kids out of school on a whim.
It's learning to create value and living life on your terms.
Instead of asking yourself and your family to toe the line and pick a safe career that might not exist next year,
imagine showing your kids a way they turn whatever they love at the time, into a income without having to bet it all on one subject or a grade.
Continuing to learn about the world because it's fun throughout your life.
imagine a life now that's not about just getting through each day of work or school hoping it gets better tomorrow but actually exploring your world together today.
You just need to lead the first step.
If you’re already asking hard questions, you’re not behind. You’re ready to map your own mission.
